Why your notes may show different chapter numbers
The current book has 14 chapters; older editions and stale online lists show 16. Syllabus rationalisation removed two chapters, Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning, and shifted the numbering. So Permutations and Combinations moved from old Chapter 7 to current Chapter 6, and today’s Chapter 7 is Binomial Theorem. Always match by chapter title, not number.
