Editorial Policy
This page explains how content on LearnCBSE.net is planned, written, checked,
and corrected. We publish it because readers deserve to know how study material
they rely on is made.
How content is planned
We choose topics based on what CBSE students genuinely need across Classes 1-12
— textbooks, chapter resources, and exam preparation — not on advertising value.
Our sources
Our primary sources are official NCERT textbooks and CBSE publications. To check
facts we maintain a digitised (OCR) reference copy of official textbooks and
structured research notes. This reference material works as a whitelist: it is
never published as-is, and nothing outside it is presented as official fact.
AI assistance, honestly disclosed
Some drafts are produced with the help of AI writing tools. Every such draft is
checked against official sources and reviewed before publication. Automated quality
checks additionally block pages that invent download links, official file codes, or
unverified numbers — and a human makes the final publish decision.
Verification rules we never break
- Official PDF links and file codes are inserted by verified software from the
official index — never written by hand or by an AI drafting tool. - Numbers, dates, and syllabus claims must trace to an official publication;
otherwise they are omitted. - Extracted reference material (OCR or research bundles) is source material for
editors, never a finished page.
Corrections
If you report an error via the contact page, we verify
it against the official source and correct confirmed errors promptly — usually
within 7 days.
Updates and dates
A page’s “updated” date changes only when its content meaningfully changes. We
do not refresh dates to appear current.
Independence
We do not accept payment for rankings, recommendations, or reviews. LearnCBSE.net
is an independent educational website with no affiliation to CBSE, NCERT, or any
government body.
